LAS VEGAS, Sept. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Thrive Aviation today announced a strategic partnership and minority investment by Arulean Air, a Honda Aircraft Company subsidiary. This investment in Thrive Aviation establishes the foundation for a new fractional ownership platform designed to scale significantly over the coming decade, expanding private aviation options for passengers.
Thrive Aviation will bring its exceptional operational safety standards, unwavering sophistication and industry-leading, client-focused approach to this new fractional program. Thrive will operate and manage the program, from client relationship management to flight operations. Arulean Air will acquire aircraft for the fractional program, providing a foundation for the program to scale as the fractional owner base grows.
The program will initially operate two aircraft types: the HondaJet HA-420 in the light jet category and the Bombardier Challenger 3500 in the super-midsize category. The HA-420 brings efficiency, technology and performance to regional missions, while the Challenger 3500 provides the cabin and range required for longer trips with more people aboard. Owners are matched to the right aircraft for each mission. The program is also designed to draw on Thrive’s existing operating platform and fleet of more than 30 aircraft, providing additional flexibility as owners’ travel needs evolve. Thrive intends to expand the fractional fleet as the program grows.
For Thrive, the decision to enter fractional ownership was a deliberate extension of the private aviation platform the company has spent the past eight years building.
“Adding fractional ownership opportunities enables Thrive Aviation to serve a broad spectrum of clients throughout their entire private aviation journey – from private charters to fractional ownership to full ownership” said Curtis Edenfield, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Thrive Aviation. “We’re building another major piece of the Thrive platform and something we expect to scale for a long time. The goal is simple: as our clients’ aviation needs evolve, we want to evolve with them.”
Building for Long-Term Growth
Thrive has received the first two aircraft and anticipates adding approximately four to six HondaJet HA-420s and two to four Challenger 3500s annually as the fractional owner base and fleet continue to grow. That growth rests on the foundation announced today: a long-term strategic partnership with, and minority investment by, Arulean Air, a subsidiary of Honda Aircraft Company. Arulean Air’s acquisition of aircraft for the program, combined with Thrive’s existing operating platform and fleet of more than 30 aircraft, is designed to support the program as it scales.
“This long-term, first-of-its-kind partnership with Arulean Air gives Thrive Aviation the foundation to build this program at scale,” Edenfield said. “We’re building for the long term, and having a partner like Arulean Air with a shared vision gives us the ability to grow the program for years to come.”
The introduction of fractional ownership expands Thrive Aviation’s existing suite of private aviation services, which includes on-demand charter, aircraft management, jet card memberships and aircraft maintenance. With fractional ownership added to the platform, Thrive will be positioned to serve clients across virtually every stage of private aircraft utilization and ownership.
Full program details will be introduced at NBAA-BACE 2026, October 20–22, in Las Vegas. Prospective owners can register for an advance preview at www.fractional.flythrive.com. Registration is for informational preview purposes only and does not constitute an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy, any ownership interest.
