GeoSupport Systems, a Midwest-based geotechnical contractor, has completed foundation underpinning at a Kansas National Guard facility that had been experiencing settlement in Topeka, Kansas. The project stabilized structures showing signs of foundation movement and restored long-term structural integrity at the military installation.

The scope of work called for the installation of a deep foundation system designed to transfer building loads to stable, load-bearing strata beneath the affected structures. Soil conditions at many sites in the Topeka region have historically created challenges for shallow foundations, and targeted underpinning solutions were required to halt further movement and prevent additional damage to walls, slabs, and interior finishes. GeoSupport Systems was selected following a competitive review process based on its technical capabilities, project management experience, and history of completing similar work for government and institutional clients.
The Kansas National Guard project relied on American-made deep foundation products, including helical piers and push piers manufactured by Supportworks. As an official Supportworks dealer, GeoSupport Systems offers a full line of engineered, Made in USA foundation systems backed by manufacturer testing and engineering support. These systems are engineered to provide measurable capacity and verifiable installation data, an important consideration for federal and state agencies that require documentation throughout the construction process.
“GeoSupport Systems has built its reputation on solving complex foundation challenges for clients who cannot afford downtime or uncertainty, and the Kansas National Guard is exactly that kind of client,” said Josh Boesch, Owner of GeoSupport Systems. “The team was honored to be entrusted with stabilizing a facility that supports those who serve the state and the nation, and we’re proud to have delivered a precise, durable solution.”
The Topeka assignment adds to a growing list of public-sector projects completed by GeoSupport Systems across the region. The company has previously partnered with state departments of transportation, healthcare facilities, manufacturing operations, and utilities, performing work that ranges from foundation stabilization and concrete leveling to temporary shoring, soil nail walls, and pipeline support. Project crews are dispatched from offices in Omaha, Kansas City, and Oklahoma City, allowing the firm to respond quickly to job sites throughout the Midwest.
Throughout the underpinning work, GeoSupport Systems coordinated site logistics with facility personnel to minimize disruption to ongoing operations at the Topeka installation. Pre-construction planning included geotechnical review, load calculations, and verification of installation criteria, with each pier load-tested in the field to confirm performance against engineered specifications.
The completed award reinforces the firm’s continued expansion into government and institutional markets, where reliability, documentation, and American-manufactured materials are central to project requirements. With the Topeka project now finished, GeoSupport Systems continues to position itself as a trusted geotechnical partner for clients throughout Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and surrounding states, supporting infrastructure that communities and agencies depend on every day.
