Computershare Acquires Fitzcores, Expanding Investor Targeting Capabilities

Computershare announced today that it has completed the acquisition of the business and assets of Fitzcores LLC: a specialist global investor targeting firm.

Fitzcores’ global investor targeting and investor intelligence platform helps investor relations (IR) predict, attract and prove the individual funds and portfolio managers most likely to invest in their stock.

Computershare said that insight derived from Fitzcores’ empirical targeting algorithm, which is modeled on past performance and historical data, will help deliver stronger IR outcomes for investor meetings, roadshows and conferences, compared to most traditional, industry-standard approaches.

The acquisition means Computershare’s investor engagement services now include investor targeting, investor surveillance and an IR management platform as well as proxy, governance and activism services through Georgeson Advisory.

“Fitzcores is an industry leader in investor targeting and innovation in IR technology, and we’re delighted to welcome them to our team,” said Aaron Bertinetti, CEO of Computershare’s Investor Engagement in North America.

“The firm’s proven, empirical targeting platform will immediately benefit our clients by strengthening returns from IR programs and roadshows, optimizing C-suite time with investors and enabling expanded equity ownership in a measurable, cost-effective way.”

Fitzcores’ proprietary advantage comes from its advanced quantitative approach, which combines fundamental targeting traits, investor behavior and industry characteristics.

“Computershare’s Investor Engagement business’ deep understanding of corporate IR needs makes it the ideal strategic fit for Fitzcores, and I am excited to become part of the Computershare family,” said Brendan Fitzpatrick, founder of Fitzcores.

Prior to Fitzcores, Computershare acquired CMi2i Limited and ingage IR Limited at the end of 2024.

Computershare’s Investor Engagement business integrates three functions into a single ecosystem:

  • Investor Intelligence that delivers near real‑time, verified visibility into equity, debt, international and beneficial ownership to anticipate risks and map investor influence

  • Investor Relations technology via a centralized platform to manage all IR programs and activities, with analytics, reporting and investor insights to inform messaging and strategy

  • Georgeson Advisory, which brings nine decades of shareholder engagement and governance expertise to counsel boards, IR leaders and governance teams through high‑stakes events, including mergers, acquisitions, activism and contested proxy votes

This acquisition advances Computershare’s core strategy to deliver robust services to corporate IR teams, boards and executive leadership, and the company’s strong investment in the global Investor Engagement business means it can offer a full 360-view of investors.
