Summit Partners Adds Revenue Leader Matt Heinz as Advisory Partner to Strengthen Portfolio Companies’ Go-to-Market Execution

Growth equity investor Summit Partners today announced the addition of Matt Heinz as an Advisory Partner. In this role, Mr. Heinz will collaborate closely with Summit’s investment team and Peak Performance Group to support portfolio companies in go-to-market strategy and execution, helping drive capital-efficient growth across sales, marketing and revenue operations.

Mr. Heinz brings more than two decades of experience building and leading revenue organizations across the technology sector, with deep expertise in go-to-market strategy, sales leadership and revenue operations. Most recently, he served as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at Boomi, where he led the company’s global go-to-market organization. Before Boomi, Mr. Heinz was CRO at Amplitude, where he helped scale the business through a period of significant revenue growth, built out its go-to-market function and supported the company’s transition to the public markets. Earlier in his career, Mr. Heinz spent eight years at Marketo, where he built the enterprise sales business and continued to lead revenue operations following the company’s acquisition by Adobe.
